20/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - Erhard Busek, Special Coordinator for the Stability Pact for South-East Europe, has welcomed the appointment of Turkish national Yalcin Cakici as Director of the Regional Centre for combatting cross-border crime (that started operating on 1 November 2000) in the region (Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia and Turkey).
