Brussels, 13/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is expected to give the go-ahead on 13 January to the merger of Sweden's Tetra Laval and France's Sidel. As we were going to press, the decision had not yet been formally announced. After making a detailed investigation, the Commission had rejected the merger plans back in October 2001.
