13/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - Ahead of the ceremonies in Paris (Versailles) and Berlin on 22 and 23 January to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of the Elysee Treaty, President Chirac and Chancellor Schröder will be meeting informally at the Elysee in Paris on Tuesday evening. The anniversary of the Franco-German treaty signed by General de Gaulle and Chancellor Adenauer in 1963 will be marked by the adoption of Franco-German proposals for the future of Europe.
