Brussels, 05/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - France and Germany should propose that the EU push back to 2004 any decision on the launch of accession negotiations with Turkey. Chancellor Schroeder and President Chirac agreed on this Wednesday evening over an informal dinner in Storkow (Germany). Officially, they simply said that they would "present a common position" that "in Copenhagen will give a strong signal in the direction of Turkey".
