France and Germany only want to give a date in 2004 - Turkey continues to demand that it be done in Copenhagen

Brussels, 05/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - France and Germany should propose that the EU push back to 2004 any decision on the launch of accession negotiations with Turkey. Chancellor Schroeder and President Chirac agreed on this Wednesday evening over an informal dinner in Storkow (Germany).
