Brussels, 05/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has awarded the Descartes Prize, intended for scientific research in the framework of trans-national co-operation,, to two projects, each of 500,000 euro. According to a press release: - one project, in medicine aims to spread knowledge about multiple sclerosis; - the other, in astrophysics, provides new pertinent elements better to understand the formation of stars and planets.
