05/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has given its green light to the acquisition by French company Keolis SA of a controlling stake in the Swedish company Busslink, hitherto controlled by Storstockholms Lokaltrafik. Busslink operates bus services for various public transport authorities in Sweden. A subsidiary of the French "Société des Chemins de Fer" (SNCF), Keolis mainly provides public passenger services by bus, coach and rail and is present in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Canada. In Sweden, however, it is only active through Citypendeln, a commuter train service in the Stockholm area.
