02/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - At a meeting of the EP/Council Conciliation Committee the final technical clarifications to be added to the compromise on the cosmetics directive was agreed on animal testing and marketing bans (see EUROPE 8 November p 14). Approval of the final common test by the Parliament should be introduced during the plenary session in December, which will allow for formal adoption of the amended directive.
