02/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - The French company, Lafarge, which was subject to a very heavy fine for having taken part in a price-fixing agreement for cement (see EUROPE 28 November p 13) has "strongly" opposed the decision and has announced that it will be immediately appealing to the Court of First Instance.
