Lehne welcomes Winter Report

Brussels, 06/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - Parliament's rapporteur on the takeover directive, Klaus-Heiner Lehne, welcomed the proposals on company governance set out in the report by Jaap Winter (see EUROPE of 4/5 November, p.9). In particular, the CDU member notes with satisfaction that European experts have made their independent proposals to the new American projects and that they "based themselves on the European business culture". …/..
