Commission wants to increase euratom loans ceiling to eur 2 billion for reasons of nuclear safety

Brussels, 06/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday the European Commission decided to ask the Council to increase the loans ceiling by EUR 2 billion from EUR 4 to EUR 6 billion in order to fund Euratom loans for nuclear safety and the dismantling nuclear installations in candidate and third countries.
