Brussels, 05/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The first European Social Forum will be held from 6 to 10 November in Florence, following in the wake of the World Social Forum held in Porto Alegre (Brazil) (see in particular EUROPE of 8 February). According to its organisers, the forum is expected to be the starting point of "another Europe, the Europe of peoples and citizens, of participation and rights, of peace and solidarity".
