France and Spain seeking allies in attempt to boost prestige of Common Agricultural Policy

Nyborg, 10/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - On the fringes of the Agriculture Council in Nyborg, France and Spain revealed that they are hoping to convince as many Member States as possible to join them in drafting an article to be published in three weeks' time in most European newspapers on the merits and ideas behind the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and its future form.
