ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) optical fibres

French ALCATEL and Chinese FIBERHOME TECHNOLOGIES are to create a joint venture for the production and marketing of optical fibres for the Chinese market. It will be owned 50/50 and is expected to be operational from 2003.
