Dutch group LAURUS (turnover EUR 2.86 billion for net losses of EUR 44 million during the first quarter 2002) is to sell its loss-making Spanish operations EL ARBOL (574 supermarkets) to the British investment fund, CVC CAPITAL PARTNERS.
