Marine algae in the fight against global warming?

Brussels, 19/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - "Parforce", an EU funded research project has discovered a new link between iodine vapours released by marine algae and plankton and climate change. The iodine vapours condense over ocean (in other words over 70% of the planet) to form aerosols which tend to counter global warming by forming haze and cloud layers to contribute to he earth's heat shield.
