Brussels, 19/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - After the management committee's positive recommendation of the 10 July, the European Commission has decided to open the crisis wine distillation in favour of Portugal for a volume of 250, 000 hectolitres (hl) of wine, of which 80% will be for PSR quality wine per hectolitre of wine by alcoholic degree. 20% of the remainder will be paid at the price of EUR 1.914 wine per hectolitre of wine by alcoholic degree.
