Eleven MEPs call on EU to change its attitude towards Tunisia

Brussels, 11/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - Eleven MEPs have sent a letter to the president of the Commission, Romano Prodi, to protest against the political situation in Tunisia, while Radhia Nassraoui, a Tunisian lawyer, has begun her third week of hunger strike to protest against the immprisonment of her husband, Hamma Hamami, the leader of the Tunisian communist labour party.
