Youth Convention calls for better representation of young people, greater solidarity, greater democracy, greater transparency and linguistic equality in young peoples' Europe of the future

Brussels, 11/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Youth Convention that started this week should continue beyond this week and is an important step in the move towards a more open and more democratic European Union. Young people are already concerned about what will happen after the Convention, insisting that youth demands and concerns should be taken into account and not be ignored.
