Parliament supports process for review of merger regulation

Strasbourg, 09/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has unanimously adopted the report by Spanish Socialist Luis Berenguer Fuster on the Commission's Green Paper relating to review of the Council EC Regulation No 4064/89 on mergers, for which the European Executive began a vast period of consultation ending 31 March this year.
