Brussels, 09/07/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Industry Committee on Tuesday unanimously adopted the report by Esko Olavi Seppänen (GUE, Finland) on the draft decision for the European Community and Euratom to sign up to the International Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management. The report is likely to be adopted at the September European Parliament plenary in Strasbourg.
