Commission proposes "Tripartite social summit for growth and employment"

Brussels, 26/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday the European Commission adopted a communication on the European social dialogue an a proposal for creating a "Tripartite Social Summit for Growth and Employment", in order to strengthen dialogue between social partners and the public authorities on the choice and way forward for economic and social policy.
