Italian company EDISON is to begin exclusive negotiations to sell 55% of its holding in CEROL (oil seed grains and bottled oils; turnover EUR 5.2 billion in 2001) to the US group BUNGE (turnover in 2001 USD 11.5 billion with 18,000 employees).
