Brussels, 26/06/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has decided to take before the Court of Justice: Spain for having imposed restrictions on the free provision of maritime transport services in Galicea, considered contrary to the legislation on maritime cabotage; - France and Ireland for poor application of legislation on the control of ships by the State of the port. In addition, the Commission has sent reasoned opinions to: Germany due to restrictions imposed on the free provision of maritime transport services: France and Luxembourg for having infringed legislation on safety controls in the road transport of hazardous products; - Greece for still not having fully implemented Community rules concerning the approval of aeronautic maintenance workshops; - Germany and Ireland for not respecting Community legislation regarding pressurised equipment in the transport of goods.
