ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) defence

Northrop Grumman, the US defence contractor is considering raising its offer for the defence activities of its compatriot, TRW, for USD 7 billion. An initial offer was proposed of USD 7.2 billion after its competitor, BAE SYSTEMS, offered between USD 6-7 billion. TRW activities that will be affected in this operation made generated a turnover of USD 5.17 billion last year.
