Parliament wants complete overhaul of directive on pesticides

Brussels, 31/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting the report of Belgian, Paul Lannoye, the European Parliament is calling for a better evaluation of the active substances in the phyto-pharmaceutical products, as well as the complete revision of the directive on pesticides. This initiative report is based on an analysis of the report by the European Commission on the functioning of the procedures applying to phyto-pharmaceutical products since the directive of 1991.
