31/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The meeting of trade ministers of the thirteen candidate countries will be held on Friday and Saturday (31 May/1 June) in La Valette (Malta) on an initiative of the Maltese Government. It will not be held in Rome as wrongly stated in our bulletin yesterday (p.7). The European Union is represented by the Spanish Presidency and by Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy, but the ministers of the Fifteen will not attend.
