Parliament calls on Council to adopt temporary defence mechanism against South Korean dumping

Brussels, 31/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption on Thursday of a common resolution by four political groups (EPP-ED, PES, GUE/NGL and UEN) on the situation in the European shipbuilding sector faced with South Korean dumping practices, the European Parliament recalls that, in November 2001, it had approved the proposal of regulation concerning a temporary defence mechanism and that it had called on the European Commission to amend this proposal in order to include other market...
