07/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The decision announced by the United States to withdraw their signature from the Statute of the International Criminal Court has been strongly criticised by the Greens/EFA group at the European Parliament. Co-President Monica Frassoni criticised "this new demonstration of unilateralism" as being "in contradiction with the proclaimed priority given to the fight against terrorism… But Bush is trying in vain to turn the clock back. Even without the United States'...
