The low fare airline company EASYJET (£357 million turnover end-September 2001) is set to take over its rival GO for an estimated £400 million, thereby becoming the sector's number one operator, ahead of RYANAIR HOLDINGS. The enlarged group EASYJET should have 56 aircraft, 83 routes and close to 13 million passengers annually.
