Praesidium begins preparations for April plenary

Brussels, 26/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Praesidium of the European Convention on the Future of Europe is to meet on Wednesday afternoon in Brussels, under the chairmanship of Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. It will essentially draw practical lessons from the first real plenary session of the Convention (see EUROPE of 23 March, pages 3 to 6), and prepare for the next plenary, scheduled for 15 and 16 April.
