26/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Council has adopted the request made by Ireland to participate in certain provisions in the Schengen Agreement. Ireland has certain reservations about data exchange and its participation in the provisions involving the implementation and running of the Schengen Information System (SIS) and its financial aspects.
