Italy and France meet again to discuss Mont Blanc Tunnel

Brussels, 26/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - The French transport minister Jean-Claude Gayssot and his Italian counterpart Pietro Lunardi were due to meet on Tuesday evening on the fringes of the Transport Council to discuses the re-opening of the Mont Blanc Tunnel to lorries. Three years after the fire in the Mont Blanc Tunnel, France re-opened the Tunnel to cars on 5 March but postponed re-opening for lorries until some unspecified date in the future.
