Budgetary Control Committee recommends the EP grants discharge of Commission's Budget for 2000 and keeps close eye on flax affair

Brussels, 26/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the EP's Budgetary Control Committee adopted the report by Joseph McCartin (EPP-ED, Ireland ) recommending that the EP grants the European Commission discharge for its Budget for the year 2000.
