EP chooses compromise with Council and United States by adopting Jarzembowski report on aircraft noise

Strasbourg, 13/03/2002 (Agence Europe) - With Wednesday's adoption, by 476 to 43 and 12 abstentions, of the report by German Christian Democrat Georg Jarzembowski on the introduction of operating restrictions linked to aircraft noise, the European Parliament chose compromise with the Council and the United States.
