ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) retailing

The Spanish food retailing group CAPRABO (net profit of 28.6 million euro in 2001 with 11,800 employees) has made a public 138.66 million euro bid for a 100% stake in ENACO ("Ifa" and "Amica" brands: net profit in 2001 of 3.6 million euro, with 1,675 employees).
