Agreement on Eurodac - France waives reservations

Saint Jacques de Compostelle, 14/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - All EU Member States now agree on the creation of a fingerprint file for asylum-seekers. France, the only country to have maintained a reservation over this plan called Eurodac, announced its assent on Thursday, on the occasion of the informal JHA Council in Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle.
