The German bank HYPOVEREINSBANK has proposed to the group KIRCH, experiencing unprecedented financial difficulties (it has accumulated between 5 and 7 bn euro of debts), 1.1 bn euro to buy the 40% it has in the publisher AXEL SPRINGER. In addition, KIRCH is said to be seeking a partner for its press agency DDP-AND. It is also said to be on the verge of selling its 25% stake in the Spanish chain TELECINCO, says the Wall Street Journal Europe, which estimates the share at between 450 and 500...
