Informal Gymnich Council to be devoted to funding enlargement, the Balkans and the Middle East

Brussels, 06/02/2002 (Agence Europe) - The informal meeting of the General Affairs Ministers, the so-called "Gymnich-type" meeting, to be held on 8 and 9 February in Caceres in Extremadura, will be mainly devoted to the Balkans (Friday midday), enlargement (Friday afternoon) and to the situation in the Middle East (Saturday morning). Council President Josep Piqué plans to restrict "as far as possible" the number of subjects tackled and to focus on the financial package for enlargement...
