Brussels, 21/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the EU Council of Ministers adopted a regulation introducing a definitive anti-dumping duty and rendering definitive the collection of the provisional duty on the import of urea, even in aqueous form, originating in Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Libya, Lithuania, Romania and Ukraine. The act was adopted through a majority, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Sweden and the United Kingdom having voted against and Greece abstaining. Last year, the Commission had introduced a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports originating in these countries. Then, it continued to research and check all information necessary for the definitive conclusions. Its investigation confirmed the introduction of a definitive anti-dumping duty.
