Despite upsurge in violence in region, Josep Pique considers that peace process is only possible path

Brussels, 21/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - In Beirut on Friday, EU Council President Josep Pique condemned the attack on Hadera and qualified the peace process is "moribund", considering however that the process was the only possible path. Mr. Pique stated "that all responsibilities must be assumed, all risks, and pursue the arrests and destruction of terrorist networks, as these types of acts of terrorist violence only place a peace process that is already practically moribund in a dead-end"....
