London, 23/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, made a speech on Friday at the European Research Institute in Birmingham where he called for the UK to get more involved in Europe, saying that the "tragedy for British politics and for Britain is that too many politicians have consistently failed… to appreciate the reality of European integration and in doing so they have failed Britain's interests".
