Appeal from conference on prevention of accidents in the workplace

Brussels, 23/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Belgian EU Council Presidency, the European Parliament's Committee on Social Affairs and the Agency for Safety and Health at Work (Bilbao) have organised a conference in Brussels on the theme "Prevention of Work-related Accidents: A Different Strategy in a Changing World of Work?". Debates were introduced for the Belgian Presidency by Laurette Onkelinx, for the European Parliament by James Provan and for the European Commission by Odile Quintin....
