22/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, Alvaro Gil-Robles, is organising a seminar in Strasbourg on 26/27 November on Human Rights in Chechnya. The seminar will be attended by representatives of the Russian federal authorities (including of the Prokuratura (General Prosecutor's office) and the Supreme Court), the local authorities of Chechnya, Russian and Chechen NGOs and Chechen civil society.
