Mrs Neyts underlines EU's desire to convince WTO to maintain permanent dialogue with ILO

Brussels, 22/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - As acting President of the EU Council, the Belgian Minister delegated to Foreign Affairs Annemie Neyts reaffirmed the Union's undertaking to work towards the integration of "social governance" within the process of globalisation, during a meeting with the Director General of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the Chilean Juan Somavia, who she met in Brussels, this Tuesday.
