Brussels, 13/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - The chief European diplomat, the High Representative for CFSP, Javier Solana, the acting President of the EU Council of Ministers, Louis Michel, and the European Commissioner for External Relations, Chris Patten, will be in New York until Wednesday to take part in the general debate at the United Nations' Assembly, but meanwhile the European Commission, through a spokesperson, welcomed the historic advance of the Northern Alliance troops in Afghanistan...
