The French holding company WORMS & CIE has sold for "some $1 million" the American paper group APPLTON PAPER, held by its British subsidiary AWA - ARJO WIGGINS APPLETON, to a structure managed by the employees of APPLETON PAPER. The world's foremost manufacturer of copy and thermal paper, APPLETON PAPERS has an annual turnover of some $1.1 bn and employs 2,500 people.
