400 million euro for Ericsson

Brussels, 17/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted an eight-year 400 million euro loan to Ericsson, Swedish manufacturer of telecommunications equipment. This loan will contribute to financing Ericsson's research and development activities in several of its centres of excellence located in Sweden, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Hungary, and in particular concerns improved management and operations of mobile telephony networks.
