First official visit by Margot Wallström in Slovenia with a view to enlargement

Brussels, 17/10/2001 (Agence Europe) - Margot Wallström, Environment Commissioner, will be in Slovenia on 18 and 19 October. The aim of this first official visit by an Environment Commissioner to this country is to discuss the environmental aspects of enlargement with Slovenia's political decision-makers, environmental organisations, students and school-children. Margot Wallström is to congratulate Slovenia on progress made in the field of the environment during the accession negotiations...
