Commission adopts three INTERREG programmes

Brussels, 20/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, the European Commission adopted three cross-border co-operation programmes that will be funded by the Community INTERREG III initiative. EUR 26 million will be granted to projects concerning the border regions of Austria and Slovakia; EUR 25.9 million to development projects in the border regions of Austria and the Czech Republic; and EUR 32 million to projects in the southern half of the border region between Sweden and Norway.
