Go-ahead to acquisition of SSM Coal by Rheinbraun

Brussels, 18/09/2001 (Agence Europe) - The German company Rheinbraun Brennstoff, fully-owned subsidiary of the German group RWE, is authorised by the Commission to take over exclusive control of the company SSM Coal (hard coal and petcoke). According to the agreement, Rheinbraun is initially to acquire 50% of the shares that it does not yet own in SSM from its partner, the Dutch gorup SHV Deelnemingen Maatschappij BV.
